Co-opted Governor: Mrs Lindsay Newton
I became a governor in October 2021 after working with the school and governing board for three years in a professional capacity as a Governor Support Officer for the Local Authority. It was through this role that I saw how important governors were to a school and how they could support the positive and ongoing development of children’s education. I’m hoping that my varied experience in governance and a background in finance can be used to support the school.

Parent Governor: Mrs Emma Johnson
I became a parent governor in March 2023 and am also the link Safeguarding Governor. I currently work as a Children and Families worker. However, I previously worked at Kingsway School for 18 years. Within this time I became familiar with relevant policies, the school's Improvement plan and expectations within the school setting.
Joining the governing board allows me to put into practice skills I have learnt along the way to ensure all children reach their full potential in a safe and caring environment.

Co-Opted Governor: Ms Jane Cocliff
I joined the governing body in September 2023 and am now the link governor for SEND.
Having previously taught at Kingsway and having had the role of SENDCO for a number of years, I would like to offer my experience and support to the school in its endeavour to offer every child, every chance, every day.
