  • Monday 22 November 2021 Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Scheme This programme is designed to provide children and young people who receive free school meals with free fun activities. You can find out more about activities taking place over the Christmas Holiday by visiting the Active Eastriding website.
  • Monday 22 November 2021 Schools Admission Arrangements 2023-24 Each year all admission authorities have to review the admission arrangements for their schools, and formally set, or 'determine', these arrangements by 28 February.
  • Wednesday 15 September 2021 Flu Nasal Vaccines 2021 If you would like your child to receive the nasal flu vaccine in school please follow this link to complete an online consent form. Annual flu vaccinations are available this year to all students in year groups Reception up to Year 11

  • Friday 16 July 2021 Great Big School Clean 2021 Congratulations to Kayain who took part in the Great Big School Clean and helped clean up the streets of Goole!
  • Wednesday 16 June 2021 Congratulations Mr Marwood! Following on from the school's recent mental health work focused on nature, all staff were invited to submit photographs based on the theme of "nature". The entries were judged anonymously by a range of children and we are pleased to announce that Mr Marwood's entry was declared the winner. Mr Marwood has won a hamper of chocolate (which class 6DM are hoping he will share!) for his photograph of an evening fire. Thank you to all the children who voted and for staff for taking part.
  • Wednesday 9 June 2021 Hot and Sunny Weather During hot weather every effort will be made to provide shade during playtimes/lunchtimes (eg gazebos) and during extremely hot days it may be that children will not be allowed to play out. At lunchtimes a “cool room” will be made available for children who need to have a drink or are too uncomfortable in the heat.

  • Tuesday 15 December 2020 East Riding Winter Grant Scheme In November the government announced it would support the provision of additional funding for families where children are eligible for Free School Meals over the Christmas school holiday. The government have asked councils to include this with its Winter Grant Scheme as it part of the wider financial support programme to help families during this very difficult time. This also means that help may be available for families facing financial struggles who do not currently claim free school meals.

  • Friday 13 November 2020 6MW Creature Writing 6MW are currently learning about Charles Darwin and his Theory of Evolution. The children have been researching different animals and using their findings to create their own imaginary creatures. They have then written non-chronological reports detailing their creature's evolutionary adaptations. We are so proud of their work that we wanted to share it with you.   • Friday 13 November 2020 Home Learning Update We have now set-up home-learning feedback email addresses for each year group. This means in the event of your child having to self-isolate you may email their work to the relevant teaching team.   • Wednesday 11 November 2020 Remembrance Day 11.11.20 Year 6 have created a display to help us remember the sacrifice so that so many made for us. The whole school held a minutes silence at 11:00 hours to remember the end of the 1st World War in 1918.
  • Tuesday 10 November 2020 Monday 16th November - "Odd Sock Day" Next week (w/c 16th November) we are taking part in Anti-Bullying Week and will be launching the week with ‘Odd Socks Day’ to celebrate differences and to raise awareness about bullying.
  • Friday 6 November 2020 Kitchen Update 06.11.20 The school kitchen will remain closed next week (week commencing 9th November). Children in years 3-6 will need a pack lunch everyday next week.
