  • Friday 22 July 2022 School Games Gold Award We are delighted to announce that Kingsway Primary School have achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the 2021/22 academic year.

  • Monday 30 May 2022 Platinum Jubilee May 2022 On Friday 27th May 2022 we celebrated the Platinum Jubilee with a picnic This was the end to a week with a whole school focus on the Queen and her 70 year reign .Every child received a commemorative bookmark as a keepsake of the occasion. The day finished with the whole school singing the National Anthem on the school field.

  • Friday 16 July 2021 Great Big School Clean 2021 Congratulations to Kayain who took part in the Great Big School Clean and helped clean up the streets of Goole!
  • Wednesday 16 June 2021 Congratulations Mr Marwood! Following on from the school's recent mental health work focused on nature, all staff were invited to submit photographs based on the theme of "nature". The entries were judged anonymously by a range of children and we are pleased to announce that Mr Marwood's entry was declared the winner. Mr Marwood has won a hamper of chocolate (which class 6DM are hoping he will share!) for his photograph of an evening fire. Thank you to all the children who voted and for staff for taking part.
  • Wednesday 9 June 2021 Hot and Sunny Weather During hot weather every effort will be made to provide shade during playtimes/lunchtimes (eg gazebos) and during extremely hot days it may be that children will not be allowed to play out. At lunchtimes a “cool room” will be made available for children who need to have a drink or are too uncomfortable in the heat.

  • Tuesday 15 December 2020 East Riding Winter Grant Scheme In November the government announced it would support the provision of additional funding for families where children are eligible for Free School Meals over the Christmas school holiday. The government have asked councils to include this with its Winter Grant Scheme as it part of the wider financial support programme to help families during this very difficult time. This also means that help may be available for families facing financial struggles who do not currently claim free school meals.
