During Careers week, the dentist came to visit Owl Class. We had lots of fun finding out about our teeth and how to keep them healthy. We were amazed to find out that our dentists wear a cape the wrong way round!!! That makes them a SUPER HERO!

We had an exciting visit from a Saxon expert from Murton Park. We learned about the History of England in the time of the Anglo Saxons right through to 1066. We acted out the infamous Battle of Hastings and some children had the chance to hold Saxon weapons. We learned about where Saxons came from, where they settled and all about their way of life from food to clothing.
